The operational principle of the system is very simple:

The system is built on palm-tops (PDA) and radio data transmission.

The waiter takes the orders at the table with the help of a palm-top, within the table from particular groups. Then goes to the next table, to the next customer. In the meantime the order is transmitted to the counter with the help of a radio connection and is printed on a block printer. The colleagues behind the counter put the orders together and take it out to the particular table. The waiters can constantly keep track of the open tables and the orders placed, by checking it on their palm-tops and on the PC program at the counter.

The table can be closed with the palm-top program, with only one push of a button. This time an itemized list of consumed goods and the total amount is printed out at the counter, which can be typed in the till in one amount. The list and the receipt are then given to the customer upon settling the bill. An itemized invoice can also be prepared upon request, which can be done in a split form too. Invoice can be printed in more languages.

The program is totally user friendly and it is absolutely comprehendible from both the manager and the employee prospective.
